Zebrinha ha vinto in 3 minuti, sottomettendo Manzo con una perfetta esecuzione del triangolo.
Subito dopo l’incontro, l’altro nostro ambasciatore in UFC, Marvin Vettori, ha avuto uno scambio di opinioni su Twitter con il prodotto di TUF 23.

Di recente hai avuto uno scambio di opinioni con Marvin Vettori. Lui ha detto che vuole “staccarti la testa”. Hai qualcosa da dirgli?
Marvin è sicuramente un duro. Non lo conosco e non m’importa nulla di lui. Se venisse da una vittoria, potrebbe sicuramente parlare in quel modo, ma oggigiorno tutti vogliono fare come Conor.
Credi che Marvin e Alessio siano atleti che possono essere di diretto in UFC?
Sì, credo di sì. Entrambi hanno avuto successo in UFC e sono sicuro continueranno a far bene.
Cosa ne pensi dei fighter italiani e delle MMA italiane?
Ero un grande fan di Alessio Sakara e spero che la scena MMA italiana continui a crescere.
Hai detto che ti basta un round per vincere. Se necessario, riusciresti a combattere per 25 minuti?
Mi alleno sempre per i 5 round, ma nulla vale quanto una spettacolare vittoria nel primo round. È così che ti fai notare.
Sei delle tue vittorie sono per sottomissione. Chi è il più grande specialista in sottomissioni della storia delle MMA?
Demian Maia a mani basse.
Da dove deriva il tuo soprannome?
Mi è stato dato dai miei coach brasiliani in The Ultimate Fighter 23.
Parlando di allenamento, è più duro l’allenamento da fighter MMA o quello da pro wrestler?
Credo che quello da pro wrestler sia più duro. Devi ricordarti molte cose, devi ricordare la tua parte e contemporaneamente devi essere nel posto giusto. Inoltre è necessario molto atletismo.
Hai avuto un match contro Matt Riddle, cosa ne pensi di lui come persona e come pro wrestler?
Matt è una persona fantastica e sarà una star ovunque andrà.
Cosa possono imparare i fighter MMA dal pro wrestling e cosa i wrestler dalle MMA?
Che tutto questo è intrattenimento. Ci sono così tanti fighter che farebbero di tutto per entrare in UFC, anche essere sottopagati. Bisogna interagire con i fan e farsi un seguito per rimanere nel gioco.
Se potessi scegliere un qualsiasi fighter di MMA e un pro wrestler per il match della vita, chi sceglieresti?
Mi piacerebbe lottare con Shawn Michaels e combattere contro Demian Maia.

On January 28th, Italian fighter Alessio Di Chirico stepped inside the most famous octagon for the third time and went toe-to-toe with the skater from Providence, Eric Spicely.
Zebrinha won in 3 minutes, submitting Manzo with a triangle-choke.
Right after the match, the other UFC Italian fighter, Marvin Vettori, had some words with TUF 23’s product.

First of all congrats for your last win over our man Alessio Di Chirico. Impressive performance and if we say it, we mean it.
You recently had some words with Marvin Vettori. He want to “knock your head off”. There’s something you want to say to him?
Marvin is a tough guy, I’m sure. I don’t know him or care about him. If he was coming off a win I think he’d have space to talk shit but everyone wants to be Conor these days.
Do you think Alessio and Marvin are UFC-level fighters?
I do. They have both had success in the UFC and I’m sure will.
What do you think about Italian MMA and Italian fighters?
I was a huge fan of Alessio Sakara and I hope the Italian MMA scene keeps growing!
You said that you’re a “first round guy”. If needed, could you last 25 minutes?
I train for 5 rounds. But nothing beats winning flawlessly in the first round. That’s how you make a statement.
Six of your wins are by submissions, who’s the greatest submission specialist in MMA history?
Demian Maia hands down.
Where does your nickname come from?
My nickname comes from the Brazil’s TUF 23 coaches.
Speaking of training, is MMA training harder than pro wrestling training?
Pro wrestling is harder in my opinion. It’s a lot to remember you have to remember to act and be in the right place in the right time as well as be athletic.
You had a match with Matt Riddle, what do you think of him both personally and professionally?
Matt’s an awesome guy and he will be a star wherever he goes.
What can MMA fighters learn from pro wrestling? And what pro wrestlers from MMA?
That this is entertainment and there are so many fighters dying to fight in the UFC and will do so for less money. You have to connect with the fans and make yourself have some staying power.
If you could choose any MMA fighter and any pro wrestler for the biggest match of your life, who would you choose?
I would love to wrestle Shawn Michaels and fight Demian Maia
